China x Reader - Day 1 Hello China

Shanghai drunken crab
Guangdong snakes and lizard, traditional flavours
Sichuan spicy taste is numbing aru"

"AHHHHHHHHHH HOTHOTHOTHOT!!!!!" You rushed to the sink for a glass of water. You gobled the water and still felt the spicy food in your mouth.

"PHAHAHAHAHA I warned you _________! I told you it would be spycy, aru!"

"Oh shut it Yao. You never told me it was this spicy!" You frown at the boy sitting at the kitchen table laughing at you.

You and your best friend Wang Yao did these lunch contests often to try and cook diferent foods. You would always try your best to impress him since he was the most criticising person you knew... well... with food at least. It was your long time dream to be a cook and satisfying your picky friend was just the perfect chalange.

"Ok now try mine!" You point to the roasted duck you made (with a lot of effort).

"Yes yes don't get all agitated _______ ". Yao chuckled and grabed his chopsticks. He then proceeded to pick a small piece of duck but just as he was going to taste it he turned to you with a glint in his eyes. "Say ______... We have made these lunch contests for quite some time now, aru..."

You eyed him suspiciously. 'What is he planing?...' "Yeah.... and your point is...?"

He chuckled again "How about we try and do something diferent?"

"Uhmmm.... sure? What did you have in mind?"

He took a bite off the duck and went wide eyed. He smiled and looked over at you. "Oh just something, aru...".

You blushed a bit. When he liked your food and gave you that happy honest smile it made you seriously happy, but recently it also gave you this butterfly-ish feeling in your stomach... and you kinda liked it. "And that something is....?

"Let's go shoping, aru!!!" Yao anounced happily almost jumping out of his chair.

You just giggled feeling a bit nervous. "Just don't overdo it like last time ok?"

*FLASHBACK*

"YAO PLEASE STOP THIS! I CAN'T CARRY ANY MORE BAGS!!!"

"But __________ look at these cute kitty plushies!!!!"

"You already have loads of them!"

*END FLASHBACK*

"Hehe i apologise, aru. But i just couldn't help it!" He sheepishly rubbed the back of his head.

"Fine ok let's go..."

"Come on ______! I still want to see the store over there-aru!" Yao draged you EVERYWHERE and buyed EVERYTHING he found remotely cute. You were tired and grumpy but you couldn't bring yourself to be mad at him.

'He looks so cute when he's excited like this! You couldn't help but smile at him like an idiot. He noticed this and turns to you blushing slightly.

"Uhmm _______? Do i have something on my face?"

You shook your head also blushing. 'Oh god i was staring????' "Sorry Yao you just look so happy shoping like this that i couldn't help but smile!"

Blushing he turned away from you and rushed to a store. You just stoof there uterly confused watching him talk to the shopkeeper a bit flustered. The shopkeeper glanced at you and you wave. He waved back and grined at Yao nodding. Ok NOW you were confused. 'What in the world are they talking about?. The shopkeeper handed him a box. Yao payed the man and came runing to you.

"Uhmmm what was all that about Yao?

"O-Oh it's nothing... i just had to get something for someone important to me... Come on i have to show you something!" He smiled and started to pull you along. He walked back to his house and left all the shoping bags there then ran out of the house draging you along. "It's an amazing place i found the other day!"

Your heart almost stoped. 'Someone important huh? So he already likes someone.... You followed him flashing him a smile everytime he looked at you. No you weren't going to ruin this moment. He looked so excited and you didn't want to ruin that. Even if it hurt.

After 30 minutes of walking he blindfolded you. "Almost there ________".

And after a few minutes of clumsly walking he removed your blindfold. "H-Here we are, aru..."

You arrive at this beautifull garden. You gaped at the sight... Amazing cherry blossom trees everywere... there was these jade lion statues in two rows making a path that, in the light of the setting sun, shimered in amazing green tones.

"Y-Yao... What is this place? It's amazing!" There was no response he simply grabed your hand and lead you through the jade filled path and...'Wait.... Is he blushing?' You tilt your head in confusion and blush yourself. 'I'm in such an amazing place....alone.....with him....'. Gulping you tighten the grip on his hand and he griped back flashing you and adorable flushed smile. You smile back but go wide eyed when you see where he lead you.

"Oh.....my.......god....." Was the only thing that came out of your lips. It was trully an amazing sight... The trees formed a clearing and in the middles there was a pure white stone table surrounded by torches.

"D-Do you like it ______?" He gently lead you to the table and put the box he got earlier on it in front of you. "Will you please open it, aru?"

Your heart was racing wildly by now. "W-Wait... i thought you said it was for someone special?"

He chuckled relaxing a bit. "Yes i did say that."

Your were shoked out of your wits. 'WOAH .... h-he feels the same?.... "Y-Ya-" You were cut off by a sudden but gentle pair of lips on yours. Simple, short but sweet and tasted like green tea.

"Y-You have always been special for me ________... I-I was a coward, aru. I was afraid of telling you how i felt. But... i rather tell you everything because i know we will still be friends... i trust my soul to you ________ so please forgive me if i made you uncomforta-" Now this time it was your turn. You kissed him as gently as he did and wraped your arms around him. Needless to say he was shoked as well and hesitantly wraped his arms around your waist. When he did he hugged you tightly enjoying every second of it. Eventually you two broke the kiss for that blasted need for air.

"As i was about to say... Yao i feel the same..." You smiled brightly with a matching blush.

Yao chuckled and kissed you again before grabing the box. "I got this for you _______! Open it, aru!"

Without him letting go of you, you opened the box only to find a necklace with his country's national flower and your favorite flower dangling together. "Oh Yao it's beautifull!!!"

"Flip it, aru..."

You fliped them and found an inscription. You read it aloud, "Wo ài ni _______, Yao" you ould feel yourself tear up. "OMG YAO YOU ARE SO SWEET!" You hugged him never wanting to let go.

Yao smiled and putt the necklace on you giving you a passion filled kiss. "You are even sweeter _______".
